More on yesterday....

Caitlin here. Sam and i are wondering what we have to do so that Sam can own a similar car collection and I can dabble in horse racing (mrs. Ruperts hobby). And yes mom, I agree, the reiches do need another few buildings on middle road, so why not a car museum?

Anyway, after this amazing stop we went to stellenbosch, another wine town. Don't worry dad, we didn't try too many more wines, but we did go to the Spier estate, where some americans told us we could find excellent merlot. Well, maybe our palates just aren't as sophisticated, but we liked the Cabernet better (this wine was also rated best bang for your buck... Dont know what that says about our taste but sounds right up our alley!)

After Spier we drove about 25 minutes to cape town. What a city! Our hotel is located by the waterfront which we I'm mediately checked out. There are many piers, a long boardwalk, and lots of restaurants, markets, shops, and performers. We loved it! We also went to the fabulous aquarium where Sam got in line with the little kids for the nemo tank. he was, of course, way too tall, but I got some greAt photos nonetheless.

We had a delicious dinner at the waterfront and headed back to the hotel for some r&r.
